How
ozone is administered?
-
Ozonated bath and drinking water
-
Ozonated
olive oil
-
Lymph
massager
-
Intravenous
drip, injections, rectal and vaginal applications
-
Topical
applications
Bathing
in ozone water. Small portable ozone generators
that can be attached to your bathtub are now available.
Regular soaking in ozone water, in the bathtub or hot
tub, relaxes muscle tension, eases stiff joints, and allows
oxygen to penetrate the skin making it soft and smooth.
Ozone water therapy done at a clinic or a spa is used
for the treatment of such problems as eczema, skin ulcers,
arthritis, and circulation problems. Ozone water therapy
is also available by using a steam cabinet.
Drinking
ozone treated water. Concentrations of ozone
can be diffused through drinking water prior to consumption
by a simple diffuser. Drinking this water has proved helpful
for patients with gastritis, indigestion, and ulcers,
sore throats, thrush, and gum disease.
Ozonated
olive oil. Ozonated olive oil is made by bubbling
highly concentrated ozone gas through pure olive oil.
This process takes several days of continues gas flow.
The result is an effective strength oil that has the distinctive
odor of ozone. Topical use of this oil allows ozone to
enter the tissue and heal cuts, wounds, burns, ulcers,
lesions, and infections. In massage, ozone penetrates
the skin and oxidizes lactic acid and any other toxins
that may be present, alleviating soreness and pain.
Lymph
massager. To increase the oxygen level of the
body, the use of a hand held lymph massager, which generates
ozone, can be massaged over the skin, allowing oxygen-rich
ozone to penetrate the skin. www.oxygenwand.com
Ozone
bags. Ozone-resistant bags or body suits up
to the neck are used to enclose the body. Ozone is then
allowed to flow into the bag to heal wounds, skin conditions,
ulcers, or simply to increase the bodys level of
oxygen. Since ozone is readily adsorbed from the skin,
large amounts of ozone can be absorbed in sessions between
thirty minutes to one hour.
Ear-canal applications. Used for ear infections
and fluid in the ear, the tube of the ozone generator
is placed next to the opening of the outer ear can. Ozone
is allowed to flow into the outer ear canal for one or
two minutes.
Joint injections. Ozone can be directly injected into
the joints such as the hip, wrist, or knee to alleviate
arthritic problems. Orthopedic doctors in Europe use this
treatment with beneficial results.
Vaginal
douches. Because ozone has the ability to destroy
fungi and bacteria, physicians have found ozone to be
very effective in treating vaginal infections.
Rectal
infusions. Studies have found that ozone diffuses
through the colon wall and is distributed into the circulatory
system. Elevated levels of oxygen as high as 250% above
normal have been recorded in the intestinal wall, venous
blood, as well as the liver using this method.
Autochemotherapy.
This is a method by which blood is removed from the patients
body, mixed with ozone/oxygen, and returned to the body
via intravenous drip. This is the most widely used ozone
therapy, treating viral infections, HIV, hepatitis, cancer,
multiple sclerosis, and other diseases.
Intravenous
injections. With this method, the ozone/oxygen
mixture is very slowly injected into the general blood
circulation.
